Rust Job: Rust Developer (Blockchain marketplace)

Description:

As e.near’s Rust Developer, you will be:

Part of the development team working on a platform that offers a blockchain-based marketplace that allows users to register and buy products or services.

This platform with modern design using microservices runs on Azure cloud and integrates with third party services for particular operations (e.g. payment, secrets, kyc, etc). Going multi-cloud is also planned.

Some of the microservices that are being developed will strengthen the platform on top of which other services will be developed, and they verse on:

• Allowing user registration, buying products and interacting with other services.

• Connecting to different consensus providers

• Creating custom distributed ledgers

• User management, asset management, analytics with security/privacy focus

Some of the job responsibilities entail:

• Review & optimizing existing codebase

• Add integration with third party services

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5 years commercial software development experience

• 3+ years of experience with projects in Rust language

• 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes and PostgreSQL (schema & query optimization)

• General knowledge of the blockchain internals / DLT

• Experience in reviewing and optimizing existing codebases (refactoring)

• Architecture and design of Rest APIs, Web Socket APIs, use of message queues
